How We Work — Not a Cookie-Cutter Process

Every nomad journey is different. Rather than pushing you through steps, we build around your constraints.

Listen & Map

We start by understanding your income structure, family situation, risk tolerance, and destination preferences. No forms — just a real conversation.

Research & Route

We compile visa options, tax implications, connectivity data, co-living availability, and healthcare access for your shortlisted destinations.

Launch & Support

Once you move, we stay available. Troubleshooting, local introductions, workspace recommendations, and quarterly check-ins are all included.

Service Map

We don't sell packages — we solve problems. Here's what we cover, mapped by the challenge you're facing.

Challenge AreaWhat We Deliver
Legal & VisaVisa pathway analysis, residency permit guidance, freelancer registration support for 23 countries
Tax & FinanceTax residency planning, multi-currency banking setup, invoicing compliance review
Workspace & ConnectivityRemote office audits, co-working space sourcing, backup internet planning, ergonomic setup guides
Community & NetworkIntroductions to local nomad communities, mastermind group matching, event calendar access
Family & LifestyleInternational schooling research, healthcare navigation, partner employment options

Transition Mapping Session

A focused 90-minute consultation to map your current situation against your nomad goals. You leave with a written action plan.

Typically booked 2–3 weeks in advance

Full Relocation Route

End-to-end support from decision through arrival. Includes legal, financial, logistical, and community onboarding elements.

Engagement duration: 4–10 weeks depending on destination

Operational Tune-Up

For existing nomads who need systems tightened — tax compliance, workspace efficiency, cost reduction, or community access.

One-off or quarterly retainer available

Based in Scotland. Serving Everywhere.

Our headquarters sit at 581 Orchard Drive, High Leuschkehampton, QL24 7WY, Scotland, United Kingdom. We chose this location deliberately — close enough to major European hubs for client meetings, remote enough to practise what we preach.

We've helped professionals relocate from Scotland to Portugal, Estonia, Thailand, Mexico, and Croatia. We've also helped inbound nomads settle into Scottish life — yes, including advice on weather resilience.

"They understood the Scottish tax system inside out, which made my transition to Lisbon far smoother than expected." — Ailsa Drummond, UX consultant

Journey Board — Real Outcomes

We track outcomes, not vanity metrics. Here are condensed snapshots from recent engagements.

Software Engineer → Tallinn

Relocated from Edinburgh. We handled Estonian e-Residency application, OÜ company formation, and found a co-working space within walking distance of old town. Total timeline: 7 weeks.

Completed March 2025

Marketing Duo → Chiang Mai

Couple running a content agency. We restructured their UK tax obligations, sourced long-stay accommodation with reliable fibre, and connected them to a local business network. Timeline: 5 weeks.

Completed January 2025

Family of Four → Algarve

Parents both freelance. We navigated Portugal's D7 visa, identified international schools in Faro, set up multi-currency accounts, and arranged a trial month before full commitment.

Completed November 2024

Fit Check — Is Value Nomad Hub Right for You?

We're a great fit if you:

  • Have a stable remote income or freelance pipeline
  • Want structured guidance, not just blog-post advice
  • Value compliance and doing things properly
  • Are willing to invest in getting the transition right
  • Need someone who understands UK/EU tax crossover

We're probably not the right fit if you:

  • Are looking for a travel agency or holiday planning
  • Want to start freelancing from scratch (we don't teach that)
  • Need immigration legal representation (we refer to solicitors)
  • Expect instant results — proper relocation takes weeks

A Note on How We Think About This Work

The digital nomad industry is full of noise — influencers selling dreams, visa mills churning applications, and co-living brands that prioritise aesthetics over function. We exist because the practical middle ground was missing. The person who earns a real living online, has real obligations, and needs real answers. That's who we serve. We don't romanticise nomad life. We make it work.
